Community Development

At Southside Bank, we know the value of investing in our communities. We search for ways to help those around us, and we truly believe in the importance of lending a helping hand. We receive many requests and unfortunately, we are unable to support all of them. Each request is carefully considered to determine where our charitable donations can be most effective. If you have a donation request, please take a moment to review our Community Support Guidelines below. If your request aligns with one of these categories, you may complete a Community Development Request Form. Please allow at least one month for review of your request.

• Low-to-moderate income households: We partner with organized outreach programs to help households in need.   
• Education: We invest in programs that support education for children and adults, providing a better future for everyone.
• Economic development: We seek to enhance our communities through job promotion and economic growth. 
• Civic and cultural initiatives: We strive to support events that strengthen the quality of life through artistic endeavors and cultural awareness. 
• Health and wellness: We build stronger communities by supporting organizations focused on promoting physical and mental health and wellbeing.
