Employees have two plan options for medical and prescription drug insurance – a Copay Plan or a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with a Health Savings Account (HSA).
Our dental insurance covers preventive services at 100%. Basic, major and orthodontic services are covered at deductible and coinsurance.
Our vision insurance offers coverage for eye exams, frames and lenses for glasses, or contacts in lieu of lenses.
Southside offers company paid Basic Life and AD&D coverage at two times the employee's annual salary up to $50,000.
Southside offers company paid Life Insurance for a spouse and/or child(ren).
In addition to the Basic Life insurance offered, Southside offers additional Voluntary Life insurance. Employees can opt to increase life insurance coverage and also purchase life insurance for a spouse and/or child(ren).
If an employee has a qualified condition, short term disability benefits are available.
FSAs allow employees to pay for out-of-pocket medical, dental, vision, and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars.
If enrolled in HDHP, employees may contribute to a HSA with pre-tax dollars. Southside Bank also contributes dollars to your account each pay period.
Employees can earn wellness incentives through participation in wellness-related activities.
The Employee Assistance Program offers resources to employees to help manage life events, such as face-to face sessions with a counselor; on-demand seminars; community resources for child care, senior care, identity theft, legal and financial consultation; and more.
With the 401(k) plan, employees are automatically enrolled at 5% after 30 days of employment with annual employer contributions.
Southside offers tuition reimbursement opportunities for both full-time and part-time employees taking business-related classes.
Employees can enjoy up to 11 legal paid holidays observed during the year upon approval of the Board of Directors.
