How does this merger benefit me?

Southside has approximately $6.5B in assets and 60 locations throughout East, Southeast, North and Central Texas. As a part of a larger community bank such as Southside, you will now have access to more products and services. These services include: access to over 55,000 ATMs for free, extended banking and customer service hours and personalized debit cards.

Account Information

Will my account number(s) change?
No. Your account number will stay the same.

Will I need to replace my checks?
No. You may continue to use your FBTET checks. Checks ordered through the bank either in person, by mail or through southside.com on or after April 30, 2018 will automatically be printed with the new routing number. If you re-order checks through an outside vendor on or after April 30, please use the new bank name and routing
number, 111923607.

Will I need to replace my debit card(s) or HSA card(s)?
No. At this time, your FBTET debit card(s) do not need to be replaced or changed. You will receive a new debit card in the summer of 2018. You will receive more information as that time nears. For added security and fraud protection, don’t forget to enroll your card(s) in the MobiMoney app which can be downloaded from your app store.


Online Banking and Bill Payments

Will I need to make any changes to my direct deposits and automated payments?
No. You do not need to make any changes to your direct deposits or automatic payments. Transactions with the FBTET routing number will be processed as usual.

Will my electronic account access change (online banking and bill pay)?
Once conversion is complete on April 30, 2018, you should sign into your online banking using the login fields found on southside.com.

How will my bill payment processing date be affected?
If your payee accepts electronic payments, your account will be debited on the “process date”. If your payee requires a paper check, your account will be debited when your check clears through your bank account. Please allow at least two business days for electronic payments.

Will I be able to continue using the FBTET mobile app?
No. Once conversion is complete on April 30, 2018, you can dowload the free Southside Bank mobile app from your favorite app store.

Will I be able to make mobile deposits?
Yes. You will be able to make mobile deposits once you have logged into online banking or the mobile app: select “Mobile Enrollment” Under “Services” and accept the terms
and conditions

Will I need to make any changes to my recurring online bill payments?
No. Bill payments, payment history and payee information will automatically transfer into the new online banking system for personal accounts. However, bill payments and payee information will NOT automatically transfer for commercial customers.

When requesting a wire transfer, which routing number should I use?
Beginning April 30, 2018, please use the routing number for Southside Bank: 111923607.

Will my connection to Quicken/Quickbooks be affected?
Yes. Please visit southside.com for important information and instruction guides regarding your Quicken/Quickbooks connectivity.

Will I continue to have access to Finance 360?
No. You will now use Southside’s My Money Manager. All connections will need to be re-established. Visit southside.com for more details.


Statements and Interest and Loan Payments

Will my statements arrive on the same schedule?
You will receive two partial statements for April 2018. The first partial statement will end on or around the account conversion date, and the second will be as close to your current statement cycle as possible. Following this statement cycle, you can expect to receive your statements near your current schedule. Month-end statements will remain at month end.

When will I be assessed my monthly service charge?
Your monthly service charge will be assessed when your monthly statement cycles. Commercial analysis charges will be assessed on the 6th of the following month.

When will I receive my interest payments?
For interest-bearing checking accounts, interest will be paid on the last day of your monthly statement cycle. For savings accounts, interest will continue to be paid on the last day of each quarter.

Will I be able to continue to use my loan coupons when I submit my loan payment?
You may continue to use your current loan coupons if you prefer. However, you will begin receiving a billing notice or statement from Southside Bank that contains your current payment due.

Will the terms of my mortgage or other loans change? Will my automatic loan payments be affected?
The terms of your mortgage or other loans will not change. Automatic payments may continue to be made as they have in the past. The address used for payments by mail for mortgages is Southside Bank, PO Box 150099, Ft. Worth, TX 76108. For all other loans, the payment address is Southside Bank, PO Box 1079, Tyler, TX 75710.

What changes will affect my Certificates of Deposit (CDs)?
Interest rates and terms currently in effect for your CDs will not change until renewal. At that time, your rates may be adjusted, just as they have in the past, to reflect current market conditions.
